The AKM73M-ACCNR is a versatile servomotor in the AKM series manufactured by Kollmorgen. The motor is designed to deliver the best performance for a wide range of industrial applications. The device is equipped with a keyway shaft. The device can be lifted both horizontally and vertically. Lifting eyes should be used to lift and move the device because it weighs over 20 kg. The unit cannot be directly connected to the mains supply. When handling the motor, condensation should be avoided on the motor surface. The product has angular connectors which can be rotated. These connectors are meant for power supply and feedback signals. The AKM servomotor comes with an option to add a fan to it for forced ventilation. Adding a fan seems to increase the unit’s mounting dimensions. In the case of adding forced ventilation, the motor current must be limited to 23.5 A for connector protection. The servomotor features Class F insulation. The motor has a peak current of 40.8 A and a peak torque of 113 Nm with a tolerance of +/-10%. There are 10 poles in the motor. The device is not equipped with a holding brake. The unit has a flange size of 188 mm and its rotor length is 3. The product comes with an M type winding. The servomotor motor has ball bearings, the life of which is 20,000 operating hours under rated conditions. They should be replaced after that.
