Product Description

The AKM65S-ANR2MA02 synchronous servomotor from the house of Kollmorgen is designed to provide superior class performance along with industry-leading power density. The motor features low harmonic distortion, eventually ensuring smooth performance. The device is easy to commission and use with full-frequency autotuning and plug-and-play motor recognition. The flange size of the motor is 138 mm, and its rotor length is 5. The unit has S type winding. The motor is equipped with a built-in 24V holding brake. The AKM servomotor does not have brushes because commutation is performed electronically by the servo amplifier used. The device should be operated only under the ambient conditions defined in the product documentation. The motor should never be connected to the mains supply directly. The thermal contact integrated into the motor windings should be observed and evaluated. The servomotor has ball bearings, which should be replaced after 20,000 operating hours under rated conditions. The motor must be checked for bearing noise once every 2,500 operating hours. In the case of noises, the operation of the device should be stopped and the bearings must be replaced. Wherever possible, only backlash-free, frictionally locking couplings or collets should be used in the AKM servomotor. The couplings must be aligned correctly. A displacement will result in unacceptable vibration and the bearings and the coupling are prone to damage or destruction. The commissioning of the device is prohibited in machinery that does not comply with the EMC directive, fulfill the requirements of the EC Machinery directive, and/or comply with the Low Voltage directive. The servomotor should be assembled, transported, stored, and maintained only by trained and qualified personnel. The motor should not be opened by the user. The housing of the motor can be cleaned using isopropanol or a similar agent.
