Product Description

The AKM54K-ANCNDA-00 is one of the AKM series synchronous servomotors from Kollmorgen. The DC servomotor has a brushless design and is an ideal choice for positioning tasks. It is widely used in transfer lines, machine tools and industrial robots. The commutation is carried out electronically using a SERVOSTAR digital servoamplifier. The motor features permanent rare earth magnets made of neodymium-iron-boron. The product has a climatic category of 3K3 in adherence to EN 50718 specifications. The device makes use of angular connectors for feedback and power supply signals.

The servomotor along with the servoamplifier forms a closed torque or speed control loop. The device must not be subject to brute force or blows on the shaft, flange or bearings. The EMC shielding and earthing must be done according to the instructions provided in the servo amplifier’s manual. The core has a poly terephthalate insulating material. The motor cable has a capacity of not more than 150pF/m while the capacity of the resolver cable is less than 120 pF/m. They operate between a temperature range of -30°C and +80°C.  The device is fitted with a smooth shaft and uses an ECN1x13 for feedback.

The DC motor has a peak torque rating of 38.4Nm and a peak current rating of 29.2A. The product also has a voltage constant of 96.6mVmin and a torque constant of 1.5Nm/A. The shielding must be correctly installed to avoid EMC interference. The device supports a radial load of 450N and an axial load of 180N at the shaft end at a speed of 3000min-1. The drive must be commissioned based on the setup instructions provided for the servoamplifier. The motor tends to run away or will not rotate if its phases are connected in the wrong sequence. The servomotor has a one-year warranty period and can be sent to any address in the world.
