Product Description

The AKM53M-ANC21-00 is a brushless DC servomotor manufactured by Kollmorgen. The motor is intended for demanding servo applications. Its rotor has permanent magnets. The motor does not have brushes, because commutation is done electronically by the servo amplifier used. The product is enameled in matt black, and the finish is non-resistant to solvents like trichloroethylene and nitro-thinners. The device has a smooth shaft and is equipped with a Comcoder with a 1024 PPR feedback system. The AKM servomotor features a spring applied holding brake (24V DC) integrated into it. When the brake is de-energized, it blocks the rotor. The holding brake is designed as a standstill brake and is not suited for repeated operational braking. If the brake is released, the rotor can be moved without a remanent torque. The device has a standstill torque of 11.4 Nm and a standstill current of 13.4 A. The maximum mains voltage of the motor is 480 VAC. The holding torque of the brake at 120?C is 14.5 Nm. The standard weight of the product is 7.4 Kg. Special care must be taken when storing, transporting, and operating the AKM servomotor. It is important to ensure that the components of the motor do not bend, and insulation clearances remain unaltered. The site in which the device is placed and stored should be completely free of aggressive and conductive material.
