Product Description

The Kollmorgen AKM53G-ANANR-70 is a high-performing synchronous servomotor designed for industrial requirements. The motor has a flange size of 108 mm and a rotor length of 3. The unit comes with a smooth shaft. There aren’t any brushes in the servomotor; commutation is performed electronically by the servo amplifier used. Care should be taken when installing the motor. The site of installation should be free from aggressive and conductive material. The motor is coated using polyester powder coating in matt black. The AKM servomotor is equipped with an in-built resolver feedback system. The maximum mains voltage of the device is 480 VAC. The motor should not be connected directly to the mains supply. The unit has a peak current of 14.3 A and a peak torque of 29.7 Nm with a tolerance of +/- 10%. The rated speed of the motor at 400 V is 2000 per minute. The servomotor should be operated only under the ambient conditions. As far as packing is concerned, the unit should be packed with a cardboard packing equipped with Instapak® foam cushion. The product should be assembled, transported, and operated with extreme caution. Its housing must be earthed safely to the PE busbar within the switch cabinet. A low-resistance earth connection is required to ensure electrical safety. The operator should not unplug the connectors when the device is live, as it could result in material damage and severe injury to persons. The device comes with ball bearings. The motor must be checked for bearing noise once every 2,500 operating hours. If there is a noise coming from the bearings, the motor must be switched off and the bearings must be replaced. Only qualified and trained personnel must handle the motor after reading the documentation carefully.
