Product Description

The AKM52K-HNCNR-01 servomotor from the house of Kollmorgen is easy to use and commission with plug-and-play motor recognition. The motor serves as a direct mate to most of the Kollmorgen servo drives. The device features a smooth shaft and a unique shaft seal for enhanced environmental protection. The product is exclusively designed and meant to be driven by servo amplifiers from the same manufacturer under speed and/or torque control. The unit has a flange size of 108 mm and its rotor length is 2. The device features K winding type. The ambient temperature in which the motor should be operated is 0°C to 40°C. There are temperature sensors provided in the stator windings to monitor the temperature of the winding. There is a resolver built into the servomotor as the standard feedback element. The servo amplifier used in the device evaluates the position of the resolver and supplies sinusoidal currents to the motor. The motor surface can exceed a temperature of 100°C. So, before touching the device, one should remember to measure the surface temperature of the motor and wait until it has cooled down below 40°C and then touch it. There are 10 motor poles in the AKM servomotor. The unit is equipped with rotatable angular connectors for power supply and feedback signals. The wiring up of the servomotor should be done only by personnel qualified and trained in electrical engineering. During assembly and wiring, the motor should be de-energized. The switch cabinet should also remain turned off. The power supply should be turned on during start up. The motor can be wired up using the wiring diagrams provided in the servo amplifier’s installation and setup instructions.
