Product Description

The AKM52H-CN9NGE00 is an efficient synchronous servomotor manufactured by Kollmorgen. The motor is intended for equipment with high requirements for stability and dynamics such as machine tools and industrial robots. The device is coated with polyester powder coating in matt black. The device should never be directly connected to the mains supply. A three-phase network is used to connect the motor. The motor is fitted with an electrically isolated PTC at a rated temperature of 155°C with a tolerance of +/- 5%. It should be noted that the PTC doesn’t offer any protection against short, heavy overloading. Commissioning the AKM servomotor is prohibited if the machine in which it was installed does not comply with the EMC Directive, does not fulfill the requirements of the EC Machinery Directive, and/or does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive. At the time of mounting and operation, it is important to protect the device from mechanical effects, as it could lead to scratches or cracks on the painted surface. Mishandling the product increases the risk of corrosion. The AKM servomotor should be maintained and cleaned only by qualified personnel. Opening the device invalidates the warranty. If the housing seems dirty, it can be cleaned with Isopropanol or something similar. The user should not immerse or spray the device under any circumstances. Proper earthing of the motor and the servo drive should be ensured. Correct earthing and EMC shielding must be performed in accordance with the instructions manual of the servo drive used. The mounting plate and motor casing must be earthed. When the motor is live, connectors should not be unplugged. Touching exposed contacts can result in severe injury. It should be noted that power connections could be live even when the shaft is not rotating and it can lead to flashovers, thereby causing damage to the contacts and injuries to persons.
