The AKM44S-BSMN1-02 is a reliable servomotor launched by Kollmorgen. The servomotor features the S winding type. Thermal contact integrated into the motor windings must be observed and evaluated. The AKM servomotor has permanent magnets in its rotor. The neodymium-iron-boron magnetic material is a key factor that dynamically drives the motor. A three-phase winding driven by the servo amplifier is integrated into the stator. The unit is equipped with a Comcoder with a 1024 PPR feedback unit. The product features a 0.5m shielded cable with IP20 connectors. The device does not incorporate a brake. The motor comes with a special shaft and depicts special customization. The flange size of the motor is 84 mm, and the flange design is customized in accordance with NEMA standards. The AKM servomotor has 10 poles. The device must be protected from unacceptable stresses during transport, assembly, and operation. Only trained and qualified staff with knowledge of mechanical engineering must assemble the servomotor. At the time of handling and transport, care must be taken so that the components of the motor don?t bend, and the insulation clearances are not altered. Axial load must be avoided on the motor shaft as much as possible. Axial loading tends to shorten the life of the motor significantly. In general, the motor does not need any maintenance.
