Product Description:
The AKM22C-ANCNR-00 is a permanent-magnet synchronous servo motor built by Kollmorgen and supplied within the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. This compact unit is intended for tightly integrated axes in packaging machines, pick-and-place gantries, and other motion assemblies used in industrial automation. By converting commanded current from a drive into proportional torque and controlled rotation, the motor supports closed-loop motion profiles where repeatability and dynamic response are critical.
The electromechanical configuration is supplied without a brake, reducing axial length and simplifying inertial calculations for applications that rely on drive torque for holding. Power and feedback cables connect through two SpeedTec-ready connectors, allowing keyed, toolless mating during cable installation. The laminated stator uses winding designation C, and its magnetic layout has two poles, providing a balance between torque density and cogging behavior. Rotor position is measured by a resolver, an analog sensor that withstands high temperatures and vibration while supplying reliable angular feedback to the drive. The resolver uses a single-turn inductive reference element, so one electrical revolution corresponds to one mechanical rotation and supports accurate interpolation by the drive controller.
The feedback housing follows the Size 10/15/21 format, which establishes the resolver body dimensions and provides a consistent mounting arrangement. The motor uses an IEC flange with accuracy class N, aligning the pilot diameter and bolt circle with compatible gearheads and machine mounting surfaces. Its square frame measures 58 mm, making the motor suitable for compact linear stages and other installations where cross-sectional clearance is limited. Mechanical energy is transmitted through a smooth shaft, eliminating a keyway that could introduce play when the motor is connected through a precision clamping coupling. The rotor length index is 2, and the standard customization code indicates the baseline dimensional and electrical configuration for this model. These attributes allow the motor to fit compact motion assemblies while retaining the mounting alignment and feedback performance needed for controlled acceleration, positioning, and speed regulation.
