~ Brian Tomlin Excellent Arizona, USAThe AKM21E-ACSN2-02 belongs to the family of Kollmogen’s synchronous servomotors. It has a resolver cable with a dimension of (4 x 2 x 0.25) mm2. The resolver acts as a standard feedback element and is fabricated into the motor. The motor is galvanized with matt black so as to resist the entrance of liquids. Although, solvents like trichloroethylene and nitro-thinners can still penetrate. The AKM21E-ACSN2-02 can only permit 95% of relative humidity without condensation. It has motors that are highly functional with straight connectors at the end of each cables.
The AKM21E-ACSN2-02 has a standstill torque of 0.50Nm which is capable of producing 6.3A of peak current. It has a rated power of 0.32kW at a nominal voltage of 230V. This power rating is responsible for the adequate movement of the shaft. Kollmorgen servo motors are used to drive industrial equipments due to their high power and speed ratings. The AKM21E-ACSN2-02 has a static friction torque of 0.002Nm which specifies the frictional force between the static surface and the brake when they’re in contact with each other. However, in accordance to DIN 42955, kindly avoid placing axial loads on the shaft of this motor, as this may cause serious damage and also shorten its lifespan.
The output radial force of AKM21E-ACSN2-02 is mainly determined by the bearing and the rated speed of the shaft. It has a peak current of 12.4A and a peak torque of 1.49Nm. The current supplied is increased from zero till it gets to the peak current, and then stabilizes to a standstill current of 3.11A gradually. It takes the thermistor of AKM21E-ACSN2-02 8 minutes to response to changes in ambient temperature.
