The temperature of the winding is monitored by the temperature sensors in the stator windings, and it is signaled through an electrically isolated thermistor. The device is not equipped with an in-built holding brake. It should be noted that retrofitting of the brake is not possible. The ambient temperature at which the motor should be operated is 5?C to 40?C at rated values. The unit comes with ball bearings the life of which is 20,000 operating hours. The basic mounting style for the AKM servomotor is style IM B5. The unit has a standstill torque of 0.18 Nm and a standstill current of 2.91 A.
