Manufactured by Kollmorgen, the AKI2G-CDB-MOD-07T-000 is a graphic operator terminal in the AKI series of HMI panels. The 0.8kg device has a 204 x 143 x 50 mm mechanical size and a cutout size of 189 x 128 mm. It has a powder-coated aluminium housing, and its touch screen material is resistive and made up of polyester on glass with ITO film. It is equipped with a 7” diagonal TFT-LCD display with an 800 x 480 pixels resolution and 350cd/m2 LED backlight that has a lifetime of 20,000 hours.
The AKI2G-CDB-MOD-07T-000 utilizes a Single Cortex-A9 processor with a 512 kb L2 cache that offers a pulse wave of up to 1.0 GHz for high performance and responsiveness. Its memory RAM is 512 MB, and its total flash memory is 2GB SSD (eMMC) with up to 1.5GB free for applications. To facilitate seamless communication, it features 9-pin DSUB serial communication ports and an ethernet port of type 1 x 10/100 Base-T (shielded RJ45). Its expansion interface comprises an expansion port in the ciX expansion module, SD and SDHC compatibility, and 1 x USB Host 2.0 USB type with a maximum output current of 500 mA.
The efficient use of AKI2G-CDB-MOD-07T-000 requires an operating temperature between -10o C and 50o C, a storage temperature between -20o C and 70o C, and non-condensation relative humidity that ranges between 5 % and 85 %. Its front panel seal is the NEMA 4X/12 and UL Type 4X/12 type and meets IP 65 requirements. Its rear panel seal corresponds with IP 20 requirements.
