The AKI2G-CDA-MOD-05T-000 is a 0.5 kg LCD terminal (5-inch ) from Kollmorgen. The touch screen utilized by this device is made of a resistive overlay, polyester-on-glass and Autoflex EB. Its housing material is grey PC+ABS plastic, and it has a mechanical size of 170 x 107 x 49 mm. The cut-out size of this device is 161 mm x 93 mm. The AKI2G-CDA-MOD-05T-000 has a TFT-LCD display with LED backlight (lifetime = 20, 000 hours), 800 x 480 pixels and 64K colours. It has a display pixel error that conforms with Class 1, as per ISO9241-307.
For ease of operation and navigations, it comes integrated with an interactive and easy-to-use software tool. Like other variants in the Kollmorgen AKI HMI series, the AKI2G-CDA-MOD-05T-000 is not suitable for use under direct sunlight, strong magnetic fields, high explosive risks and sudden temperature changes. The AKI2G-CDA-MOD-05T-000 utilizes an ARM9 400 MHz Central Processing Unit (CPU), flash memory of 256 MB (with 200 MB application storage), and a RAM volume of 128 MB (DDR2). There are no memory expansion ports or SD cards on this device, but it supports 1 x USB 2.0 (500 mA). It features serial and Ethernet communication interfaces.
The input voltage of the AKI2G-CDA-MOD-05T-000 is DC 24 V (18 to 32 V DC), and its power consumption rating is 6W. Also, this device features an internal DC power fuse.
