Product Description:
AKI-CDA-MOD-04T is a Kollmorgen touchscreen Human-Machine Interface (HMI). Its dimensions are 145 x 103 x 7 millimeters. A cut out measuring 128 x 87 millimeters is required for HMI installation. The mounting depth is 43 millimeters. The standalone mounting specifications are VESA 50 x 50 with maximum 4 millimeters screw length. Front panel seal on the AKI-CDA-MOD-04T unit is IP65 rated for robust solid and liquid ingress protection. Rear panel seal on the unit is IP20 rated. Polyester on glass is used for the touchscreen which supports resistive touch and is rated for 1 million touch operations. Rear side of the HMI and the frame material is power-coated aluminum. Weight of the HMI unit is approximately 0.5 kilograms. A 9-pin D-sub interface is available on the unit for RS-232 serial connectivity.
Network connectivity is available via a Fast Ethernet interface that supports 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps data rates. One USB 2.0 interface is output that supports maximum 200 milliamps. The HMI is based on a 400 MHz ARM9 processor. External storage is available via an optional SD card slot. This slot can handle SD cards with maximum 2 GB capacity. Applications can be stored on onboard 128 MB flash memory. Capacity of the system RAM is 2 GB. A real-time clock is available on the system and is powered by a lithium battery. Power consumption of the HMI at rated load is 3.6 Watts. An internal 2 Amps DC fuse provides overcurrent protection. Power supply requirement of the HMI is 24 Volts DC and the range is from 18 to 32 Volts DC. Size of the 480 x 272 pixel touchscreen display is 95 x 53.9 millimeters. Technology used for the display is TFT-LCD with backlight.
