The AKD-T01206-NBAN-0000 Ethernet servo drive is robust, versatile and can be set up with the Kollmorgen WorkBench GUI. The drive is easy to install and program. The unit incorporates analog connectivity option and features plug-and-play support to connect digital feedback devices. The drive comes with a DVD that contains information encompassing the installation program for its setup software, WorkBench. The product has a built-in advanced dynamic braking mode that is fully operated in hardware. The drive should be strictly used only in industrial areas, because when operated in non-industrial areas, it tends to cause high-frequency interference. The drive’s DC bus capacitance is 2460 microfarads. Its PE block supports a tightening torque of up to 1.7 Nm. One-phase or three-phase industry supply networks can be used to supply the drives. The drive has a resistance of 15 Ohms for the internal as well as the external regen resistors. The absorption energy of the drive’s capacitors at 240 V is 55 W with +/-20% tolerance. The maximum continuous regen power of the external resistor of the drive is 3 kW. Caution should be observed when storing, transporting, installing, operating, and maintaining the AKD servo drive. The unit must always be mounted in a closed control cabinet, and it should be ensured that the site is free from conductive or corrosive materials. Moreover, the drive should not be placed or stored in an environment that contains highly insulating materials, because the unit or its components might get damaged. The device features a unique STO (Safe Torque Off) function. However, it must not be used if the drive is to be made inactive for cleaning, maintenance, repair operations, and long inoperative periods.
