Product Description

The AKD-P02406-NBCC-0000 position indexer digital servo drive delivered by Kollmorgen receives a digital pulse position command through electronic gearing. This product has an easy setup and programming process because of the WorkBench GUI. This device is capable of commanding multiple motions. The unit has two hardware enable methods that are controlled by the DRV.HWNMODE parameter. Its Mode 0 hardware enable method allows the drive to enable as well as clear any faults occurring on the rising edge of the hardware enable input. This drive will come to a stop in a controlled manner when the Controlled Stop command is executed. The unit related CS parameters are used to configure the controlled stop. The servo drive comes with an integrated advanced dynamic braking mode that functions fully in hardware. Its DRV.DISMODE parameter should be set to 2 for implementing the various stop categories. This product has a Stop function as defined by IEC 60204 specifications. The device makes use of its X1 connector with a 24 V voltage applied to it to control its X1 input. This unit communicates with a digital or analog control using different operation modes. It must incorporate the electronic gearing operation mode to follow the output of an external encoder. The drive has an active current loop when its operation takes place in the current torque or current mode by setting the DRV.OPMODE parameter to 0. This product sets the current loop gain automatically when it identifies the feedback device automatically and the motor data is populated automatically. The device uses its software limit switch to compare the actual position with the set threshold values. This unit supports a wide range of homing methods.
