Product Description

The AKD-P01207-NBEC-0000 servo drive delivered by Kollmorgen offers Ethernet-based support for fast operation. This product uses the foldback algorithm to monitor the current feedback and motor temperature. The device must be associated with a value of 2 or 3 for the DRV.DISMODE parameter to perform a controlled stop. This unit controls the holding brake of the related motor. Its digital inputs and outputs are to be wired as per the instructions in its installation manual. The drive supports programming of its digital inputs plus outputs to perform a wide range of functions. This product supports +24 V switching or GND switching for its digital inputs. The device related output stage is enabled by applying the ENABLE signal. This unit has four buffers that are empty by default. Its buffer contents are loaded when the drive is powered up as per the starting stage of its digital input. The drive has one analog output that can control the voltage output directly. This product receives a digital pulse position command by an electronic gearing action. The device is controlled by a CW/CCW command using its X9 connectors. This servo drive must not be sprayed with or immersed in liquid for cleaning purpose. The unit has multiple hardware and software enable options. It is integrated with an internal regen resistor but can also support an external regen resistor if the need arises. This product has an Emergency Off function disconnects the electrical power supply of the machine in which it is installed. The device renders direct communication over the Ethernet input or analog or digital control with operation modes. This unit related EtherCAT network is meant to be set up and managed with the help of the Twin CAT system manager in WorkBench.
