Product Description

The AKD-P01207-NBCC-0000 Ethernet servo drive produced by Kollmorgen has a standard housing. This servo drive is compatible with the manufacturer’s wide range of linear motors and synchronous servomotors. The product is integrated with a soft-start circuit as well as a B6 bridge rectifier in its power section. This device features support for HIPERFACE, BISS or ENDAT 2.1 and 2.2 protocols. The unit encounters a continuous current derating of 4% per Kelvin when the ambient temperature limit is exceeded. It has to be made sure that there is sufficient forced ventilation inside the control cabinet. The drive encompasses short circuit proof digital outputs with galvanic isolation at 250 VDC. This product has a rated input power of 7.65 kVA for S1 operation. The device has a maximum of 8 A rating for the fuse of its external power supply. This unit uses a 9-pin male SubD X9 connector for encoder emulation. It causes a shorting of the terminals of the motor in phase with the back emf when the dynamic braking function is activated. The product supports activation of the CANopen bus connectivity option by changing the DRV.TYPE parameter using either hardware or software. This device depicts an Er code on its seven-segment display when the DRV.TYPE instruction fails to get executed. The unit comprises motion bus interfaces with RJ-45 connectors at its X5, X6 and X11 connectors for communicating with fieldbus devices. It can be connected as a slave to an EtherCAT network. This servo drive related electrical installation must be executed only by trained and qualified personnel. The product associated operating parameters can be changed and saved using the setup software so that it can be adapted to the machine's requirements.
