The AKD-P00606-NBS3-0000 servo drive manufactured by Kollmorgen is a position indexer drive with SERCOS III connectivity option. The drive can be enabled using the setup wizard of the WorkBench software. The device is intended to be adapted to the requirements of the device or machine in which it is installed. The unit should not be started or operated without an appropriate grounding connection. The drive can be connected to one-phase or three-phase industrial supply networks. The continuous output power of the AKD servo drive is 2000 Watts and its current rating is 6 Arms. The switching frequency of the output stage of the drive is 10 kHz. The bandwidth of the current controller is 2.5 to 4 kHz, the bandwidth of the velocity controller is 0 to 1000 Hz, and the bandwidth of the position controller is 1 to 250 Hz. The servo drive is not equipped with an internal regen resistor. If required, it can be connected to an external resistor. The drive has a continuous regen power of 1.5 kW for its external resistor. The PE block of the product supports a tightening torque of up to 1.7 Nm. The AKD servo drive should be handled only by skilled personnel with the required expertise. It must be mounted only in the vertical orientation. The drive has a power derating of 1.5% for every 100 m when it is operated at an altitude of over 1,000 m and up to 2,500 m above mean sea level. Care should be taken that the drive is installed in a closed control cabinet with IP 54 or higher protection rating. The servo drive portrays Class 3M1 vibrations in accordance with IEC 60721-3-3 specifications during its operation phase.
