Product Description

The AKD-P00606-NACN-0000 Ethernet servo drive manufactured by Kollmorgen is designed to be operated in industrial environments. It is customized as per US Standard. The drive should be installed only in a machine or plant that strictly adheres to the requirements of the regional directives. The unit should be touched only after the user discharges himself/herself electrostatically. The device must always be mounted in a vertical position. Care should be taken when transporting, storing, installing, operating, and repairing the servo drive. The continuous output power of the servo drive is 2000 Watts. The drive must be operated in a closed control cabinet appropriate for ambient conditions. For wiring purpose, only copper conductors must be used. 1-phase or 3-phase industrial supply networks can be supplied for the servo drive (not over 200 kA symmetrical rated current at 120 V and 240 V). The device is not equipped with an internal regen resistor, but depending on the requirements of the application, an external resistor can be connected. The drive has electrostatically sensitive components. They can be damaged if not handled correctly. When touching the unit, there shouldn’t be contact with insulating materials, including plastic films and artificial fabrics. The device must be placed on a conductive surface. Only professionals qualified in electrical engineering should decommission the system parts. In case of dangerous circumstances, the main switch of the switchgear cabinet must be switched off and the system should be secured against restarting. The drive generally doesn’t require any maintenance. Cleaning the inside should be done only by the manufacturer. It must be noted that liquid must not enter the drive. Product cleaning and maintenance must be done only seven minutes after turning off the power.
