Kollmorgen produces the AKD-P00307-NDEI-0000 within its AKD Servo Drives series. The unit is a digital servo amplifier that modulates three-phase power for torque, speed, and position control of synchronous or induction motors used in automated packaging lines, pick-and-place stations, and material-handling axes. It mounts on a DIN rail inside a control cabinet and uses forced-air cooling to remove heat during operation. The drive acts as the electrical interface between the machine’s control network and the motor, allowing coordinated motion commands to be converted into controlled motor current without mechanical throttling.
