The AKD-P00307-NCEC-0000 AC servo drive from the house of Kollmorgen comes with a WorkBench GUI to enable easy installation and programming. The unit features the highest bandwidth torque- and velocity- loops and the fastest digital current loop available on the market. The servo drive is capable of fast data acquisition. It is SIL-qualified and features over-voltage, temperature, and current detection for added dependability. The unit’s continuous output power is 2000 Watts and its peak time is 5 seconds. Its maximum regen duty cycle is 15 % and DC bus capacitance is 235 microfarads. The servo drive must be operated in a closed control cabinet that is appropriate for ambient conditions. Only copper conductors should be used for wiring purposes. The unit must be connected to 3-phase industrial supply networks. The device comes with an internal regen resistor. It can also be connected to an external resistor, if required. The servo drive comes with a certified STO (Safe Torque Off) safety implementation. When the system is in motion, the STO function offers a functional safe stop. The unit has a stop function that is defined by IEC 60204. It is used to shut down the device in normal operation.
