The AKD-P00306-NBEI-E000 is an advanced industrial controller produced by the reputable Kollmorgen company according to international quality and safety standards. This controller is designed to carry out the accurate monitoring and closed loop control of the current, output torque and position of synchronous motor designs. It is particularly suited for the AKM motor series, when combined with this motor series the power output of the motor is recorded to be about 47 percent more efficient than conventional industrial machines. The AKD-P00306-NBEI-E000 drive controller features an enclosure that provide protection according to IP20, however operators are still required to use the controller in a closed cabinet that can provide optimum protection against external interference, and keep the ambient temperature around the controller below 45 degrees Celsius. The AKD-P00306-NBEI-E000 drive controller can be used with both the 1 phase and 3 phase power supply network. When the controller is connected to a 1 phase power supply, it operates with a rated input current of 5 amperes, however when connected to the three phase power supply, the rated input current is about 2.3 amperes. Also, the maximum inrush current for the controller is about 10 amperes. The rated supply voltage required by the controller during operation falls between 120 to about 240 volts.
