The Kollmorgen AKD family of drives has enhanced how industrial motors are driven regardless of their application. To address specific needs on the industrial floor, the AKD family houses drives that can precisely be used either to command multiple motions, supports Input Output expansion, support control using torque and velocity commands, among other applications. To completely take over the industrial floor, Kollmorgen AKD drives support a wide range of connectivity options including, CANopen, PROFINET, Analog, EtherCAT, among others. By being powered by either a three phase or a single-phase voltage source, AKD drives seamlessly fit into the existing industrial power supply network.

The AKD-M00306-M1EC-D000 is a motion controller PDMM/EtherCAT master drive designed and manufactured by Kollmorgen. The drive is part of the AKD series of drives. The AKD-M00306-M1EC-D000 features an embedded web server utility that eases service and has plug-and-play functionality that reduces the time taken to successfully interface it with a Kollmorgen motor. With a processor speed of 1.2 Giga Hertz, the drive can handle virtually any application on the industrial floor. Note that the processor is a single-core. The AKD-M00306-M1EC-D000 supports the Kollmorgen Automation Suite for setup, programming, testing, and commissioning.

The Kollmorgen AKD-M00306-M1EC-D000 belongs to the Kollmorgen AKD PDMM subseries. Drives in this subseries are known to offer full-frequency autotuning capability allowing for perfect motion control across the performance spectrum. The AKD-M00306-M1EC-D000 has a current rating of 3 ARMS, standard customizations for use in the European Union, and is supplied with a German manual. With a voltage of between 120 Volts AC and 240 Volts supplied by a single phase or a three-phase power source, the drive does not require extra devices to connect to the industrial network.
