The 67WKS-M240/3-PB inverter module represents the state-of-the-art motion control technology of Kollmorgen. The model is extensively used in various industrial sectors to control the operations of the AC/DC synchronous motors. The 67WKS transistor inverter is equipped with a 3-phase rectifier and a ballast circuit. The model is also known as a four-quadrant controller, used to control and monitor the functions of various brushless servo motors. The 67WKS transistor inverter comes with a 3-phase power supply module and the rectifier converts the AC voltage to 240V dc-link voltage which is then supplied to operate the module. Under maximum loading conditions, the unit operates at the maximum current of 10 A. The starting threshold of the ballast circuit is 285 – 300 V and the pulse power of the circuit is 2.7 kW. The inverter module is usually used to control the current and speed of the electric motors in various motion control systems. The unit dissipates its heat to the surrounding air for maintaining the internal temperature of the unit. It can be mounted at the 6U plug-in module.

The model 67WKS-M240/3-PB comes under IP00 ingress protection that’s why it must be mounted into the switch cabinet of minimum IP54 protection. Several modules can be connected together with the help of plug-in connectors. The transistor inverter can operate ideally under the permissible temperature range of 0 to +45 degree Celsius, without reduction in rated data. The unit comes with a balancing potentiometer, PI controller, 3-phase tachometer, diagnostic LEDs, and RPE (rotor position encoder).
