60WKS-M240/22 is a Kollmorgen analog servo amplifier. It is designed for controlling the speed or torque of SM series brushless servo motors. The amplifier can be supplied from the three-phase industrial mains supply through an isolation transformer. Plug in modules can be installed via the front panel and connections are available on the module backplane. PI controllers are used for motor speed control. Power section on the amplifier is implemented as a three-phase PWM transistor stage. Salient features include two differential inputs for adjustable set points, ballast circuit, power supply with smoothing capacitors, trimmer potentiometers, input for position sensor, isolated optocouplers for control signals and diagnostic LEDs. Protection functions include undervoltage and overvoltage monitoring, short-circuit protection, fuses for auxiliary power supply, and transistor temperature monitoring.
The supply voltage range for the 60WKS-M240/22 amplifier is 60 to 172 Volts AC. It can handle 3.8 kVA installed load at rated current. The DC-link voltage rating is 240 Volts.
