The 60WKS-M240/12-RB is an analog amplifier designed by Kollmorgen Automation for the driving of Kollmorgen industrial brushless synchronous motors. This servo amplifier is built to operate as an integral components of electrical equipment or machines, it has a compact housing design and can be easily integrated into environments with limited spacing. The voltage supply of this product should be done from an industrial three-phase mains supply through an insulating transformer that meet the quality standards stated in the documentation of the amplifier. To ensure the optimum protection of this amplifier, it should be installed and operated in a closed steel switchgear cabinet that can provide it with protection that meets at least the IP54 classification. There is no air cooling unit integrated into this amplifier, operators are required to provide air blowers and operate the amplifier with forced ventilation
The 60WKS-M240/12-RB analog amplifier is designed to be used at an ambient temperature that does not exceed 40 degrees Celsius, this is to minimize the risk of over heating and to ensure that the amplifier maintains its performance standards over long periods. The 60WKS-M240/12-RB servo amplifier is designed to operate with the RLG/Tacho-feedback and trapezoidal commutation, it features PI controllers that its uses to control the motor speed and the trapezoidal output currents.
