56WK-P240/80-B is a power supply module. The module can be used to supply multiple servo amplifiers such as the 60WKS-M240/xx-P0 that do not feature a ballast circuit. The module features an integrated ballast circuit and an external ballast resistor. With convection cooling, the module delivers 30 Amps continuous current and 60 Amps pulse load. With forced ventilation, the module delivers 90 Amps continuous current and 180 Amps pulse load. The 56WK-P240/80-B power supply delivers maximum 90 Amps for the DC-link circuit. One power module can serve multiple amplifiers installed in a 19-inch rack. Suppressors diodes on the module provide overvoltage protection. For the ballast circuit, the permissible pulse current is 90 Amps at 240 Volts for the ballast circuit. The ballast resistor can have a minimum resistance of 3.3 Ohms.
