The 28.Z1.F04-1010 is a three-phase sine wave EMC filter manufactured by KEB and supplied within the Z1 Sine Wave EMC Filters series. Installed downstream of a variable-frequency drive, the filter reshapes the inverter’s switching waveform to a near-sinusoid, helping reduce electromagnetic interference, limit dv/dt stress on coil insulation, and permit longer motor cables in automation cells. By lowering conducted emissions, it assists machines in meeting plant-level EMC requirements while protecting connected induction or permanent-magnet motors.
Its matched drive rating reaches 160 kW, indicating the maximum motor power the filter can pair with without exceeding thermal limits. To support this load, the device passes a continuous phase current of 370 A at the specified ambient conditions. It is designed for systems operating on a 400 V class DC link, so the insulation clearances and conductor spacing correspond to typical 380–415 V mains installations.
