The 24.Z1.F04-1010 is a sine-wave electromagnetic compatibility output filter produced by KEB within the Z1 Sine Wave EMC Filters series. Installed between an inverter and an induction or synchronous motor, the unit smooths the pulse-width-modulated output so that the motor terminals receive a near-sinusoidal waveform. By attenuating high-frequency voltage edges, it lowers motor insulation stress and radiated emissions, allowing drive systems to meet industrial automation noise limits while supporting longer cables without additional shielding.
Rated for continuous motor circuit power of 75 kW, the filter can conduct up to 180 A across its three output phases without saturation. Dielectric headroom is provided by a maximum terminal voltage of 550 V, while the rated operating class is 400 VAC for compatibility with common European drives. A core inductance of 0.07 mH shapes the current slope so that the inverter carrier remains within the permitted harmonic range. The assembly supports carrier frequencies up to 2 kHz. Operation above this value reduces insertion loss and increases thermal loading, so the connected inverter should remain within the permitted carrier-frequency range.
The aluminum baseplate measures 153 mm high and 316 mm wide, providing room for the laminated copper bars that connect to an M10 terminal designed for 70 mm² conductors.
