The 23.Z1.F04-1010 is a sine-wave electromagnetic-compatibility filter manufactured by KEB within the Z1 Sine Wave EMC Filters series. Installed between a pulse-width-modulated inverter and a three-phase motor, it changes the steep switching edges of the drive output into a smooth sinusoid, limiting common-mode voltage and protecting insulation systems in automated production equipment.

The filter covers drive systems up to 55 kW and is built for a network rated at 400 V AC. Line conductors with a cross-section of 70 mm² can be connected, matching the continuous load capability of 150 A. Its series inductance of 0.08 mH forms an L-C network with the motor capacitance; this attenuates high-frequency components created by the inverter so that differential-mode voltage is reduced across the motor terminals. At the specified inductance value the filter achieves this damping without adding excessive reactive voltage drop at fundamental frequency, allowing the motor to receive the commanded voltage set-point.
