Product Description:
The 19.Z1.C04-1000 is a sine wave EMC filter manufactured by KEB within the Z1 Sine Wave EMC Filters series. Positioned on the motor side of a frequency inverter, the passive network converts fast switching edges into a clean sinusoidal waveform, which lowers dv/dt, suppresses common-mode noise, and reduces bearing currents. By attenuating conducted disturbances, the unit helps machinery meet industrial emission limits and can reduce electrical stress on the insulation system of asynchronous or permanent-magnet motors. Its compact rectangular frame can be installed close to the drive so cable lengths remain short and coupling to adjacent wiring is reduced.
The filter is rated for a line voltage of 400 V and can carry a continuous phase current of 63 A. Under these conditions, it supports drives delivering up to 30 kW. The enclosure has an IP20 protection rating, so the unit must be mounted inside a control cabinet. During operation, the passive network dissipates 420 W, and the climatic category is 3K3 for the permitted ambient conditions associated with that heat load. A low-inductance busbar layout limits voltage overshoot, and vertical airflow is recommended so heat can move away from the assembly during continuous operation.
The housing width is 352 mm, the depth is 326 mm, and the filter body height is 193 mm, while the overall height including terminals reaches 355 mm. Terminations accept copper cables up to 35 mm², and protective grounding is provided through an M8 PE stud. The network operates on line frequencies of 50/60 Hz and withstands transient load peaks of 150 % for 60 s / 10 min without saturation. The assembly weighs 63.0 kg, so a rigid mounting surface or shelf is needed to prevent the control panel from flexing under load and to keep the installation mechanically stable.
