Positioned between a variable-frequency drive and a three-phase motor, the component reshapes the inverter's high-frequency switching waveform into a nearly sinusoidal signal. This reduces insulation stress on motor windings and helps limit electromagnetic interference near adjacent control hardware during automated operation. A smoother output waveform also reduces the amount of high-frequency content passed from the inverter to the motor cable.
