The 17.Z1.C04-1001 is a sine-wave electromagnetic compatibility filter produced by KEB and supplied within the Z1 Sine Wave EMC Filters series. In automated drive panels, the unit is installed between the inverter and the motor to smooth pulse-width-modulated output, reduce dv/dt stress on motor windings, and limit conducted emissions that could interfere with nearby control electronics. This helps protect insulation, extend cable life, and improve the electrical behavior of the motor connection. It is intended for cabinet-mounted drive systems that use longer motor leads or operate close to sensitive signal wiring.
In operation, the filter handles a rated load of 18.5 kW at a bus voltage of 400 V. Its continuous current capability is 44.1 A, so it can serve medium-frame induction or permanent-magnet motors without saturation.
