Installed between an inverter and an induction motor, the unit smooths the pulse-width-modulated output so the connected machine receives a near-sinusoidal voltage, which cuts electromagnetic interference and limits motor insulation stress in industrial automation systems. Its rectangular footprint and assembled height allow placement close to the inverter while helping maintain cable length limits inside a control cabinet.
The filter is sized for drives that draw a continuous current of 33 A from a three-phase bus at 400 VAC.
