Product Description
The 07.Z1.G03-1004 is a highly dynamic sinusoid filter manufactured and commercialized by KEB under the Z1 sine wave filter series. As a sine wave filter, this tool works effectively with a pulse-width modulator to produce a nearly pure sine wave. The idea behind a sine wave filter is that it reduces harmonics and other high-frequency noise from the output of a variable frequency drive. The filtered signal is then fed to sensitive machines such as motors. Based on KEB’s documentation, the 07.Z1.G03-1004 supports three-phase systems and adheres to the standards of CE.
At nominal working conditions, this sinusoidal filter requires a terminal voltage of 230 volts. In principle, however, the 07.Z1.G03-1004 can sustain stable operation at a maximum terminal voltage of 264 volts. At the rated voltage, the nominal current drawn by the sine filter is 4 A. For a brief interval, below 30 seconds, the sine wave filter can safely transmit a current of 7.2 A. Like most electrical devices, the 07.Z1.G03-1004 must only operate within safe ambient conditions. KEB specifies the maximum ambient temperature range for the 07.Z1.G03-1004 to be between -10 and 45 degrees Celsius.
As a sinusoidal filter, the 07.Z1.G03-1004 can accommodate a maximum motor frequency of 1700 hertz. The inverter, on the other hand, must not exceed a switching frequency of 16 kHz to ensure stable operation of the sine wave filter. With its standard enclosure and packaging, the 07.Z1.G03-1004 has a climate category of 3K3 and a protection class of IP 20. At normal operating conditions, this sine wave filter from KEB dissipates a total power of 20 watts.
