The TA33 V60 BP05 ER KTY is a synchronous servo motor manufactured by KEB and assigned to the TA Synchronous Servo Motors series. It is intended for closed-loop motion axes in automation cells, where accurate speed regulation and repeatable positioning are needed for conveyors, pick-and-place stations, and light machining equipment. A permanently excited rotor works with the servo drive to produce controlled torque across the operating range, while the integrated spring-applied brake holds the axis at standstill when power is removed. This combination supports stable motion during operation and secure holding during planned stops or loss of drive power.

The stator is designed for a phase-to-phase supply of 400 V / 230 V, and the rotor uses a 6-pole design for smooth rotation and solid torque production. When control power is removed, the brake supplies a holding torque of 4.5 Nm and releases at 24 VDC; the brake mass is 0.4 kg and its power dissipation is 12 W at 20 °C during engagement. The aluminum frame uses a 90 × 100 × 80 mm flange for rigid mounting, and the housing has IP54 protection against dust ingress and incidental splashing water. These features allow the motor to fit enclosed machine assemblies where secure mounting and protected operation are required.

The output shaft measures Ø14 × 30 mm for connection to couplings or pulleys, and the brake adds an inertia of 0.18 kg·cm² that should be included in axis acceleration calculations. Position feedback comes from a BRX 2-pole resolver operating at 10 kHz; it uses 7 VAC excitation, has a conversion factor of 0.5 ± 5%, and routes signals through a 12-pole Size A connector. The winding insulation is rated to thermal class 155 °C, which supports continuous operation at elevated internal temperatures without reducing dielectric strength. This feedback and insulation arrangement helps the motor maintain accurate control while tolerating normal thermal loading in industrial service.
