Product Description:
The 07.G6.FLA-YA00 is a modular inverter produced by KEB for the G6 Combivert IO Inverters series. It functions as the power stage between a three-phase supply and an AC motor, allowing closed-loop speed control in conveyors, small pumps, and packaging stations. By integrating power electronics, logic, and safe torque-off hardware in one enclosure, the unit streamlines installation tasks normally split between separate drives and safety relays inside an automation cabinet.
The drive links to PLCs through the EtherCAT control interface, supporting synchronous cyclic data exchange for real-time motion tasks. A built-in brake chopper is present, so dynamic braking can be wired without add-on modules, and an internal RFI filter reduces conducted emissions on the mains side. The enclosure has an IP20 protection rating for installation inside an appropriate control cabinet, while Housing Style A establishes the mechanical outline used by G6 base units. Thermal management relies on air cooling with a flat rear panel; airflow over the heat sink fins helps maintain a suitable semiconductor junction temperature. The inverter supplies up to 0.75 kW of motor power and uses a switching frequency of 8 kHz to balance acoustic noise with drive efficiency. Safe torque off is available at 0 Hz, allowing the machine to meet Category 0 stop requirements without external contactors.
During faults, the current path opens once demand reaches 216% of nominal current. A short-term current boost of 180% is available for acceleration or load peaks before that protective threshold is reached. Continuous operation is permitted from 5–40 °C; above this range, the inverter must be derated or provided with additional cooling to preserve component life. The drive can be installed at elevations up to 2000 m above sea level. Sites above this elevation may require additional measures to address reduced cooling performance and electrical clearances. An altitude sensor is not included, so the site elevation must be confirmed when configuring overcurrent and temperature supervision limits.
