Product Description:
The 07.G6.CDA-3AB0 inverter is produced by KEB as part of the G6 Combivert IO Inverters series. Designed for cabinet installation, the unit converts incoming power into a variable-frequency output that allows connected controllers to regulate induction-motor speed and torque directly. This capability supports energy-efficient operation of pumps, fans, and light conveyor sections in automated equipment while providing the adjustable motor control needed for changing process demands.
The drive uses housing style A and carries an IP20 protection rating, so it must be installed inside a suitable enclosure that protects it from dust and moisture. Under continuous operating conditions, it delivers up to 0.75 kW of mechanical power and supplies an output current of 2.6 A. PWM carrier pulses are generated at 8 kHz, balancing audible motor noise against inverter switching losses. The hardware overcurrent protection trips at 216% of the nominal current, while an integrated braking transistor directs regenerated energy to a suitable braking resistor during rapid deceleration. Cooling air passes across the flat rear heat sink, and the analog-digital interface transfers speed or torque references to the G6L-G closed-loop control system. Safe Torque Off functionality is included to prevent torque-producing motor current when the safety input is activated. Parameters are edited through software tools because the unit does not include an operator keypad or display.
The inverter has an apparent power capacity of 1.8 kVA and accepts 400 V three-phase AC or compatible DC power. A short-term current reserve of 180% supports rapid acceleration before the inverter returns to its continuous current rating. A built-in RFI filter suppresses conducted electrical noise and helps limit interference transferred through the power connection. Installation is permitted at elevations up to 2000 m above sea level without derating, provided the surrounding air remains within the operating temperature range of 5 °C to 40 °C. The compact housing and flat heat sink support installation in space-restricted control panels where airflow, wiring clearance, and electromagnetic compatibility must be managed carefully.
