Two differential analog inputs are sampled at a 12-bit depth with a scan time of 1 ms, giving the controller fine voltage resolution for torque or speed setpoints. The analog output stage supplies up to 5 mA and modulates its signal with a carrier frequency of 3.4 kHz for drive status feedback to external PLC equipment. Digital control lines have an input resistance of 2.1 kΩ, limiting sink current from sensor blocks and contact closures. A separate reference output delivers 4 mA for potentiometer excitation, while the 24 V logic rail can supply up to 100 mA to field devices. The drive can be installed at sites up to 2000 m above sea level. Its enclosure is intended for installation inside a suitable control cabinet, where the surrounding structure can provide additional protection from contaminants and accidental contact.
