Closed-loop operation allows the inverter to adjust its output in response to motor feedback and changing load conditions. The unit is intended for high-power motion systems that require controlled torque and precise speed regulation.
The inverter operates from a three-phase supply of 400 V AC. Its two P power modules convert the incoming electrical power into a pulse-width-modulated output for the connected motor. Under continuous duty, the power stage supplies a rated current of 800 A. This current supports up to 450 kW of shaft power when the inverter is paired with an appropriate motor. During brief periods of increased demand, the output can reach 1000 A before electronic current limiting intervenes. The carrier frequency is 2 kHz, which controls the switching pattern used to form the motor output waveform and affects audible motor noise.
