The 24.F5.A1R-94-A is an AC axis inverter produced by KEB for the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. Within a multi-axis automation cell, the unit converts fixed three-phase mains power into variable-frequency output, allowing a PLC to regulate an induction motor’s speed, torque, and direction without mechanical throttling. Support for encoder feedback modules and fieldbus interfaces enables closed-loop motion control for conveyors, extruders, and coordinated gantry axes.
The drive is equipped with a Standard Board that provides the primary control and feedback connections required for general-purpose operation. The board includes universal control inputs for connecting commands, status signals, and external control devices.
