23.F5.MBR-YU14 is a KEB frequency inverter. This F5 inverter is designed for industrial applications requiring asynchronous motor control. Primary function of the inverter is to produce an AC output with controllable parameters. The inverter achieves this by first converting AC input to DC, and then re-converting the intermediate DC to AC output. KEB has designed the 23.F5.MBR-YU14 for 400 Volts AC/DC input. The inverter uses pulse-width modulation (PWM) technology for producing AC output with desired operating parameters. Salient features of KEB F5 inverters include an encoder interface for feedback, slip compensation, DC braking, proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller, eight parameter sets, multiple integrated digital and analog I/O.
