Product Description:
The 19.F5.MAH-YUZ2 is an axis inverter drive produced by KEB for the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. The unit belongs to the Combivert F5 family and employs closed-loop field-oriented control to regulate induction motor torque and speed in automated machinery lines, packaging systems, and material-handling stations. By integrating power conversion, feedback processing, and motion functions in a single housing, the drive forms a central element between the mains supply, encoder, and programmable logic controller, enabling coordinated axis movement without external control modules.
Control interfaces dominate the midsection of the housing. One analog channel accepts signals in the range of -10 to +10 V and is digitized with 11-bit resolution, allowing fine torque or speed references. Five digital inputs accommodate 13 to 30 V DC logic, while two digital outputs return status bits to the PLC. A dedicated counter input tracks position sources up to 500 Hz, and two encoder inputs support incremental or absolute feedback devices. Seventeen control terminals group these I/O points for orderly wiring, and a single relay output is provided for auxiliary switching. The firmware executes a fast analog torque-set update every 250 µs, and the overall I/O scan is refreshed every 1 ms so command changes propagate quickly to the modulated output stage.
The power section is sized for applications up to 40 HP on 400 V lines, and the same limit applies to 230 V unit B configurations. The line connection may use either a 400 V AC three-phase supply or a matched AC/DC supply, both routed through the size 19 inverter frame with housing code H. Internal arithmetic maintains position feedback at 32-bit resolution for precise indexing, and a dry contact rated at 30 V DC/1 A can interlock external brakes or alarms. All logic electronics are energized from a separate 24 V DC supply, so fieldbus communication and encoder referencing remain active during main-power isolation.
