The 19.F5.C2H-350A is an AC axis drive module produced by KEB for the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. Designed for speed and torque regulation of three-phase induction or synchronous motors, the unit converts fixed-frequency mains power into a variable-frequency output for conveyors, extruders, and coordinated multi-axis machines on the plant floor. Its sensorless vector control algorithms estimate motor speed without an encoder interface. By integrating drive, logic, and protection functions in one chassis, it simplifies cabinet layouts for medium-power motion axes.
Internally, the controller samples process variables every 2 ms, allowing speed loops to react quickly to load changes. It accepts a three-phase 400 V AC/DC supply and can drive motors rated up to 40 HP on that bus; the same horsepower limit applies when the Unit B option is connected to a 230 V supply. The drive tolerates a short-term overload current of up to 150%, while the output stage switches at 4 kHz to reduce motor noise. Commands can be mapped through two analog inputs, two analog outputs, eight digital inputs, two relay outputs, and two transistor outputs without external interface cards. Eight parameter sets are stored in nonvolatile memory for quick changes between operating configurations.
