Product Description:
The 19.F5.A1H-35-F is an axis inverter produced by KEB for the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency mains power into a variable-frequency output that allows a controller to adjust motor speed, position, and torque in automated production lines, packaging equipment, and material-handling systems. The inverter integrates power electronics, signal conditioning, and fieldbus gateways in one enclosure, allowing it to serve as the central drive component in a multi-axis installation. Its integrated design also reduces the number of separate control and interface components required within the drive cabinet.
An auxiliary output supplies TTL-level pulses, giving PLCs a direct tachometer or frequency reference without additional signal shaping. Drive logic and I/O are built on the Standard Board, which includes digital inputs, analog reference inputs, and a configurable serial link for parameter access. Rotor position feedback arrives through a Hiperface port, allowing absolute encoder data to synchronize vector control immediately after power-up. In a 230 V Unit B arrangement, the inverter delivers up to 40 HP, making it suitable for mid-frame induction or synchronous motors. The physical dimensions follow housing form factor H, with mounting-hole spacing, airflow direction, and cable clearance that match other drives using the same housing profile. These connection and control features support coordinated operation where the inverter must exchange commands and feedback with a higher-level machine controller.
Rapid stopping is handled by a built-in braking transistor, which channels regenerated energy to a resistor bank and prevents DC-bus overvoltage during deceleration. The inverter carries size code 19, which corresponds to its heat-sink length, terminal pitch, and permissible heat dissipation during continuous operation. The parameter structure and keypad layout follow those used across the Combivert F5 platform, providing a consistent operating interface throughout the product line. This shared layout makes navigation and parameter entry familiar when several F5 axis drives are installed in the same control system. The enclosure arrangement also provides organized access to power, feedback, and control connections during installation and routine maintenance.
