Product Description:
KEB’s 19.F5.M1H-35GA is a power inverter from the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. The module functions as an axis drive that provides closed-loop, field-oriented control of an induction motor, using encoder feedback to maintain commanded torque and speed. It is intended for automated machinery that needs compact power electronics, an integrated brake chopper, and multiple communication channels between the motion controller and motor feedback devices. The inverter can regulate motor operation during changing loads, rapid acceleration, and controlled deceleration.
The drive operates on a 400 V AC/DC supply and uses a three-phase mains connection suitable for industrial power systems. It can deliver a continuous output current of 60 A, corresponding to a motor output of 30 kW under standard duty conditions. Short acceleration periods can draw up to 90 A, allowing the motor to respond quickly to changing motion commands. Control wiring enters through a 15-pole D-Sub connector on channel 1 and a 9-pole D-Sub connector on channel 2. Dual TTL inputs provide the encoder feedback interface required by the field-oriented control system. Housing code H indicates the cabinet outline and mounting arrangement used for this model.
The drive permits a short-term current load of 150% of the nominal value before activating an overcurrent trip at 180%. These protective thresholds help safeguard the power semiconductors and connected machinery during demanding operating conditions. A switching frequency of 4 kHz balances audible noise, motor performance, and thermal loading. The integrated GTR7 braking transistor routes regenerated energy to an external braking resistor during motor deceleration. Standard airflow cooling removes heat from the heat sink without requiring a liquid-cooling circuit. The inverter has size code 19 and can be mounted alongside compatible Combivert units without special spacers or additional air ducts.
