Product Description:
The 18.F5.C0R-760A is an AC axis drive manufactured by KEB for the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. It operates as a variable-frequency inverter that modulates three-phase motor voltage and frequency, enabling closed-loop speed and torque regulation in automated conveyors, packaging lines, and coordinated multi-axis systems. By accepting command values from higher-level motion controllers, the unit delivers the dynamic response needed for positioning tasks while also managing regenerative energy during deceleration.
The drive uses an IP20 enclosure in form factor R, and inverter size 18 identifies the mechanical platform. It supplies a continuous output of 22 kW at a rated phase current of 100 A, and it can furnish up to 180 A for short overloads. A carrier frequency of 8 kHz helps reduce motor acoustic noise while keeping switching losses under control. The input section accepts a three-phase 230 V AC supply and supports motors up to 30 HP. In Unit B configuration, the drive can also be used on 480 V mains. Its depth is 355 mm and its height is 520 mm, while the enclosure width is given in the next paragraph.
Machine-level connectivity includes 2 analog inputs with a resolution of 12 bit, along with eight digital inputs, two digital outputs, and two relay outputs. All channels are refreshed every 2 ms, and twenty-nine control terminals provide field wiring points for external control signals and status exchange. The enclosure width is 340 mm, which completes the cabinet layout dimensions for the unit. These interfaces allow the drive to exchange command and monitoring signals with external control hardware in a predictable way. The internal CPU supervises signal handling and drive response so the unit can coordinate control inputs with motor current and power delivery during normal operation.
