Supplied in housing form factor E and indexed as inverter size 16, it is intended for closed-loop speed and torque control of single motion axes in automated lines, packaging units, and conveying equipment. By synthesizing variable-frequency, variable-voltage three-phase power, the drive links a PLC or motion controller to the connected motor and enables tightly regulated acceleration, deceleration, and positioning routines.
The power section is dimensioned for a continuous output of 33 A with an overload ceiling of 49.5 A, giving the application brief current headroom for start-up or rapid load changes. Its IGBT bridge switches at up to 16 kHz, a frequency that minimizes audible noise and refines current regulation. Control logic polls field signals every 1 ms, so feedback from the two encoder channels and command data from the dual 12-bit analog inputs are acted on with minimal latency; the 12 bit resolution supports fine speed reference scaling.
