The 15.F5.H1E-350A is an inverter produced by KEB within the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. Designed for cabinet mounting, the unit converts a three-phase supply into variable-frequency output for precise motor regulation on conveyors, mixers, and indexing tables. By combining power electronics with programmable control terminals, the drive delivers the speed and torque control needed for closed-loop automation while matching motors up to 15 horsepower.
The unit is supplied from a 3-phase 400 V AC/DC bus. Its power stage delivers a continuous output of 24 A and can reach 43 A during transient overloads. IGBTs switch at a carrier frequency of 4 kHz, balancing acoustic performance with thermal losses. An integrated braking transistor dissipates regenerated energy during deceleration of high-inertia loads. Two analog inputs, eight digital inputs, and two relay outputs support machine signaling and interlock functions.
Process data refreshes every 1 ms, and the 29 control terminals help the drive react quickly to commanded changes and external signals. Each analog channel supports ranges from 0 to ±10 V, plus current inputs up to ±20 mA or 4 to 20 mA, with a resolution of 12 bit for reference scaling. Because there is no encoder interface, velocity feedback is derived from the motor model. The housing uses form factor E, and inverter size code 15 follows panel dimension guidelines.
